Meet Jack Zany

Meet Jack Zany. That's pronounced Jack Zhahnee to my ear. Or often written as Kyaw Pan. Names are complicated for an American among the Karen.

In and old blog post I talked about him as brilliant computer student who I was unable to help.

Picture of Jack Zany I returned to the school a few times to assist with internet. During one visit, I needed a password I had previously seen on a scrap of paper. When I asked for the paper, he instead opened up a password protected powerpoint file with all his personal passwords, notes, and system settings for the network. Makes sense when you are sharing your first computer with 200 other kids.

Nobody taught him that. No one even labeled the buttons in his native language. He just figured it out. how long do you think it would take you to figure that out?

I arranged to pick him up daily on my motorbike and bring him to a 2 week advanced computer class. These days we sometimes chat on IM. Mainly I get auto-invites onto every blogging, photosharing, and myspace community you've never heard of. ;)

If you're willing to take that risk, you can email him at jack.zany@gmail.com

I have no idea what to expect, but I suppose its an interesting experiment.
